I got this for my baby when she was 7 months, she didn't know how to put the rings onto the column but she surely knew how to remove them and that was and still very amusing for her. If i wanted her to be quite for a while, I would just put the rings in place and put the toy in front of her, she cannot resist going to the toy and start removing the rings then play with them.. Few months later, when she learned how to put the rings, the toy became even more amusing and is still one of her favorite. She is now 11 months.
Also it helps me teach her the different colors and sizes when I say now put the smaller ring, or now put the yellow ring.... etc.
The price is really good and the toy is durable.
Highly recommended!

Every child deserves to have the Rock-A-Stack, or some variation of it. It's one of those toys you almost HAVE to buy your child...like lincoln logs or wooden blocks. It's inexpensive, provides your child with colorful and simple to play with (and gnaw on), and it's safe.

This is an inexpensive classic toy that my 11 month old son has enjoyed for months. We received it as a gift. I probably wouldn't have selected it myself since it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of newer toys, but my baby has thoroughly enjoyed it. It taught me an important lesson-- the classic toys are often the best.

We received this as a gift. When I gave it to my 8 month old son, blue dye was all over his mouth and hands. I called Fisher Price to complain and they stated that they have not recalled the product since the dye was non toxic. They then refused to tell me what was in the blue paint. I did a search online and this problem has been ongoing since April 2009. WHY WAS THIS NOT RECALLED???

The toy seems really great but my son has shown no interest in it whatsoever. He has it out over a month now and he hasn't gravitated towards it yet. He puts everything in his mouth, so i thought that maybe just to chew on it he would do that.I guess he just doesn't like the thing.
